The Exhibition of Cultural Relics and Historical Archives of The Red Flag Raised at the Presidential Palace showcases the victory of the "Three Great Campaigns" under the wise leadership of the Communist Party of China 70 years ago, as the People's Liberation Army embarked on the magnificent journey of "crossing the Yangtze River and liberating the whole of China." With the active cooperation of the underground party organization in Nanjing, various sectors of society were united and prepared for the liberation of Nanjing. On 23rd April, 1949, the People's Liberation Army liberated Nanjing and raised the red flag at the Presidential Palace. On 1st May, the CPC Nanjing Municipal Committee was established, and on 10th May, the Nanjing Municipal People's Government was established. Since then, the Communist Party of China, carrying the victorious battle of the Yangtze River Crossing Campaign, has embarked on a glorious journey of building a new Nanjing.

The exhibition aims to encourage people to seek their origins in history, promote the great revolutionary spirit, and strive with higher standards and levels to take the lead in promoting high-quality development and accelerating the construction of a "strong, prosperous, beautiful, and high-level" new Jiangsu. It is a relentless endeavor towards the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and the realization of the Chinese Dream.
