Exhibition of Cultural Relics and Historical Archives: Liangjiang Governor and the Office of Liangjiang Governor in the Qing Dynasty

In the Qing Dynasty, the area known as Liangjiang comprised the region of Jiangnanincluding the provinces of Jiangsu and Anhuiand Jiangxi provinces. Shanghai was in Jiangsu’s area at that time. In the 247 years from 1665, when the Liangjiang Governor was set up, to 1911 there were altogether 86 persons appointed as Liangjiang Governor, which comprised 98 terms of office. The exhibition consists of three parts: showcase of historical materials of the Office of Liangjiang Governor, restoration exhibition of reception hall, and restoration exhibition of main hall. Mr. Dai Yi, a famous historian, wrote the exhibition title.
